Serenity Dennard

According to open source information, Serenity Dennard (9) ran away from the Black Hills Children's Home Society around 11:20 am, on 02/03/2019. The conditions were reported as extremely cold, and she was possibly seen leaving without a jacket.  Some open source reporting indicates she may have been last seen walking northbound on Rockerville Rd. 

Open source information indicates Law Enforcement were not immediately notified of Serenity Dennard's disappearance and reports indicate it may have been around an hour and half until Law Enforcement was notified. 

The Pennington County Sheriff's Department in Rapid City, S.D., advised of interviewing over 500 people, traversing near 6,000 miles of rugged terrain, searching by air and with K9 units, but having run out of "new information" in the disappearance of Serenity Dennard (9) when she ran away from the group home in 2019.

Searches have been ongoing since, involving half-a-dozen state and federal authorities including the FBI. Law Enforcement have interviewed staff as well as Dennard's adoptive and biological parents. Still, she has not been found nor any remains. Law Enforcement have reported the investigation will "remain open".
